Class construction case: Sisodia appeared before ACB, described the case as 'inspired by politics'

Former Delhi Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia appeared before the Anti -Corruption Branch (ACB) on Friday to interrogate the alleged corruption related to the construction of classes in government schools in the capital Delhi. The officers provided this information.

Explain that the ACB had summoned AAP leaders Sisodia and Satyendra Jain for alleged corruption in the construction of classes in government schools.

Jain appeared before the agency on 6 June.

Summons were issued after the ACB filed an FIR on April 30, based on allegations of financial irregularities of Rs 2,000 crore in the construction of more than 12,000 classes or semi-stable structures in Delhi government schools.

Before appearing before the ACB, Sisodia described the matter as an attempt to divert the matter from ‘politics -motivated’ and important issues.

He alleged, “The BJP is inspired by political objectives and making false allegations. We created excellent schools. The BJP government is poor in the management of schools. There is waterlogging in Delhi and there is power cuts. The BJP is trying to divert attention from important issues. Even BJP workers do not know what the government is doing. ”

Sisodia claimed that nothing would be found in the case.

He told reporters, “Nothing has been found against us in any other case. I will put facts before ACB in this matter. This is a matter of politics inspired. BJP MP Manoj Tiwari had made allegations against me in this case and I filed a defamation case against him. He is on bail in the defamation case. ”

Sisodia was first to appear before the ACB on 9 June, but his lawyer informed the agency that he was busy with some ‘pre -planned’ programs. He did not appear before the agency then.

When asked about not appearing before the agency on previous summons, he said, “The BJP only plays the game of registering an FIR. I work (for the public). ”
