Ignoring traffic rules in Haryana can now be overshadowed. The state police has implemented the Smart Digital Enforcement System, under which challans are now being cut without physical verification. This is especially an alert for vehicle owners whose validity of the PUC certificate or insurance of trains is over.
How will the challan be? Real-time monitoring from smart system
Integrated Control Center and Traffic Police Direct monitoring
Police has connected CCTV cameras installed across the city to the Integrated Command and Control Center. As soon as a vehicle comes into the camera, the system automatically checks the validity of PUC and insurance from its registration details. If a document is missing or expiry, the e-challan is immediately generated and sent to the vehicle owner.
Action on more than 4,000 vehicles in just one month
4,144 challans for not having PUC, fined 2,682 vehicles without insurance
Under this smart system, 4,144 challans were made of vehicles which did not have a PUC certificate. At the same time, 2,682 drivers were caught without valid insurance and their challan was deducted.
Police appeal – update your documents on time
The real purpose is to make people aware: SP Karnal
Karnal SP Ganga Ram Punia said, “Our aim is not just to challan, but to make people aware that they keep their documents updated on time. This will also reduce road accidents.”
The police have appealed to all the vehicle owners to renew the pUC and insurance of their vehicles on time, so that any problem or invoice can be avoided in the future.

There will also be an end of quarrels on the road
