Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu asked UAE’s economy and tourism minister Abdullah bin Tauk al -Marry to see investment occasions in Andhra Pradesh. Especially in areas such as marine port, logistics (freight), farming, shipbuilding, digital technology, renewable energy (renewable energy) and tourism. He assured that whoever supports the development of the state, the government will give all possible help to him.
Naidu said, “I invite you to spend 25% of the year in our state and see for yourself how we work. If you feel that we cannot fulfill our promises, you can leave us.” Chief Minister Naidu said these things in the CII and UAE’s Global Investment Institution Investopia on Wednesday (23 July 2024) in Vijayawada. He said that the state government is fully committed to giving time -bound approval and is now going beyond the ‘Ease of Doing Business’ and is going towards ‘Speed of Doing Business’. The Chief Minister’s Office itself is monitoring investment projects.
He said that Andhra Pradesh has many features like farming land, plenty of water availability, 1,053 km long sea shore, ports, airports, skilled workers, rail and road networks that can attract investors. Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu said that the UAE government and businessmen come here and see that they will get full support. The government has made special policies for 15 different sectors and the investors are being given a lot of incentives. Naidu said that the total trade between Andhra Pradesh and UAE last year was $ 1.45 billion (about ₹ 12,500 crore) and there is a lot of increase in it. This is in line with the goal of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s ‘developed India’.
He said that a British company is about to set up a green ammonia plant in Krishnapatnam, DP wants to invest in the sea sector of the world and many other companies are in touch with the government. Naidu again reiterated that Andhra Pradesh is the best option for UAE investors.
In this program, State Industries Minister T.G. India, Chief Secretary K.K. Vijayanand, MD of Lulu International. Ali, CEO Jean Fares, CEO of Investigation and R.K. Mukundan also took part. Later, an MoU (compromise letter) was also signed between the Government of Andhra Pradesh and Investopia. CM Saikant Verma and Fares, CM Saikant Verma and Fares, CEO of the State Economic Development Society (APEDB), exchanged the documents.
