Assam Chief Minister Himanta Vishwa Sharma on Saturday requested his counterpart Konrad Sangma, a Meghalaya counterpart to “impartial investigation” by a senior police officer of the death of a 25 -year -old girl in a road accident in the state earlier this week.
He said that the bereaved family of the girl, a resident of Golaghat, Assam, expressed apprehension about the accident and urged Sangma to ensure that all the facts related to it come to light.
