New Delhi. Delhi Chief Minister Rekha Gupta has said that she will soon issue a white paper regarding the tenure of the former government of the Aam Aadmi Party. Today, this announcement was made by the CM on the first day of the budget session of Delhi Assembly. The BJP government of Delhi will present its first budget tomorrow i.e. Tuesday. Earlier today, the CAG report on DTC was presented in the assembly. The CAG report revealed the irregularities in DTC during Arvind Kejriwal’s Aam Aadmi Party government.
Earlier, the CAG report related to the Delhi liquor scam was also introduced by the BJP in the House. The report said that due to the new liquor policy, Delhi suffered a revenue loss of Rs 2,002.68 crore. Apart from this, many rules related to giving liquor contracts etc. were also said in the CAG report. On the other hand, there was an uproar in the Delhi Assembly on the very first day of the budget. During the discussion under Rule 280, AAP MLAs under the leadership of Leader of Opposition Atishi went out of the House under the leadership of Speaker Vijendra Gupta. In such a situation, the Speaker called it a strategic disruption and said that action will be taken against the members who disrupted the House smoothly operating.
At the same time, on the first day of the budget session in the House, the BJP government had to present an economic survey report, although this report was not kept in the House. Explaining the reason for this, CM Rekha Gupta said that the Delhi government is currently surveying all departments. The audit report of all departments has not yet come. Without these reports, an economic survey cannot be presented when the entire report arrives, only after that the economic survey will be released.
