A major accident occurred at Gujarat’s Porbandar airport on Sunday afternoon. Actually, an Indian Coast Guard (ICG) helicopter crashed while landing, killing three crew members.
Porbandar Superintendent of Police Bhagirathsinh Jadeja said the incident occurred at 12.10 pm.
The Advanced Light Helicopter (ALH) of ICG with three crew members on board crashed while landing at Porbandar airport, he said.
Three crew members were evacuated by helicopter and taken to a hospital in Porbandar with severe burns, the police officer said.
Inspector Rajesh Kanmiya of Kamla Bagh police station said that all three crew members died in the hospital.
