The British band Coldplay thanked fans on Monday for their love and kindness during the last two weeks after completing their final concerts in India as part of the ongoing “Music of the Sphaers World Tour” in Ahmedabad.
The band, including Chris Martin, Gai Beriman, Johnny Buckland and Will Champion, started his India tour from Mumbai on 18 January and did two shows there on 25 and 26 January before going to Ahmedabad for concert.
A few hours after entertaining the audience at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad on Sunday, Coldplay said on X, “Thank you Ahmedabad, thank you India. We will never forget these two weeks. Your love and kindness will always be with us.”
Coldplay, known for songs like “Himan for the Weekend”, “The Scientist”, “Clox”, “Yellow” and “Speed of Sound”, first performed in India at the Global Citizen Festival in Mumbai in 2016.
During these programs, Frontman Martin attracted the attention of the audience by interacting with the audience in Hindi, Marathi and Gujarati, as well as thanked Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan and cricketer Jaspreet Bumrah, who also at the Ahmedabad concert on Sunday. Was joined.
Martin on Sunday greeted Indian citizens on the occasion of the 76th Republic Day of the country and sang the popular patriotic song “Maa Tujhe Salaam” by AR Rahman.
