Patna. Lalu Yadav’s son and RJD leader Tejashwi Yadav may have difficulty. Patna’s lawyer Rajiv Ranjan has given a complaint against Tejashwi Yadav at Digha police station. The complaint against Tejashwi Yadav states that a voter list is being made for the Bihar assembly elections. Tejashwi Yadav has made two voter ID cards. Both are from the same assembly constituency. The complaint states that keeping two voter ID cards is illegal. Therefore an FIR should be filed against Tejashwi Yadav. Police of Digha police station say that this complaint is being investigated.
Earlier, the Election Commission had sent a letter to Tejashwi Yadav saying that he should give a photo of both his voter ID number cards. Tejashwi Yadav claimed that he was not named after the draft voter list was released for the Bihar assembly elections. Tejashwi Yadav said in the press conference that his voter ID number (EPIC) is Rab2916120. On checking this, there is no name in the draft voter list. At the same time, the Election Commission had said that Tejashwi Yadav’s voter ID number is Rab0456228. The Election Commission had said that Tejashwi Yadav gave the same number in the nomination papers while contesting the Bihar assembly elections of 2020. Only after this, the Election Commission started investigating two voter ID number of Tejashwi Yadav.
If Tejashwi Yadav has a strong having two voter ID cards, then the problem of RJD leader may increase. Now even after giving a complaint on behalf of the lawyer in the police, Tejashwi will have to show the card with his given voter ID number. Also, Tejashwi Yadav will also have to tell that if his given voter ID number is Rab2916120 correct, then why did he give Rab0456228 in the nomination papers in the 2020 election? BJP and JDU are already demanding to register a case against Tejashwi Yadav in this case. Bihar assembly elections are expected to be held in October-November. Earlier, the charge against Tejashwi seems to be a big issue.
