New Delhi. The Congress party is not able to digest the defeat in the Haryana Assembly elections. Congress leaders are continuously blaming EVMs and also blaming BJP. Meanwhile, Congress has accepted the fact of factionalism in the party. On the review meeting of Congress regarding the results of Haryana elections, party leader Sandeep Dixit said that there has been factionalism in Congress, this is not a new thing. Congress is not a cadre-based party, so there is some tussle within the party to get posts or to get seats for its people.

Dixit said that the character of our party is different from other parties. When there are more leaders, there is bound to be some tussle. We cannot say that there has been any election in which everyone was 100 percent together. Many times, to increase their cadre, leaders start giving tickets to people who perhaps do not deserve it, who cannot win the elections, then the party suffers losses. Regarding EVMs, Sandeep Dixit said that wherever Congress won in Haryana elections, it won with more votes and wherever BJP won, it won with less votes. We believe that EVM malfunctions occur when the margin is reduced.

Sandeep said, I myself have seen officials making mistakes in counting, hence doubt arises as to how such a difference occurs. He said that whether you trust the exit poll or not, there is definitely some truth in it. At the same time, Congress leader Rashid Alvi said, there is no doubt that some Congress people would definitely have committed sabotage in Haryana. But such a big victory of BJP, which has never happened in the last many years, definitely EVM has a hand in it.
