New Delhi. Assembly elections are to be held in Haryana on 5 October. There are 90 seats in the assembly. BJP has been in power in Haryana for the last 10 years. Congress, Aam Aadmi Party and other parties are trying to snatch power from BJP here. Amidst all this, an alliance between Congress and Aam Aadmi Party has not been formed yet for the Haryana assembly elections. Many reasons are coming to the fore for this. Several rounds of meetings have been held between Aam Aadmi Party and Congress for an alliance in the Haryana assembly elections. At the same time, senior Congress leader from Haryana Randeep Singh Surjewala has also opposed the alliance. Surjewala says that Congress should contest the elections in Haryana without an alliance.
At the same time, different media reports have told what are the complications in the alliance between Aam Aadmi Party and Congress in Haryana. According to these media reports, Congress has offered only 3-4 seats to Aam Aadmi Party. Whereas, Aam Aadmi Party wants 10 seats. Also, there is news that Congress wants to give such seats to Aam Aadmi Party, where BJP is in a strong position. In such a situation, Aam Aadmi Party is not agreeing. In the news coming through the media, it has also been told that Aam Aadmi Party is also making a list of 50 candidates. So that in case of no alliance with Congress, it can contest Haryana assembly elections on its own.
At the same time, Raghav Chadha, who has held several meetings with Aam Aadmi Party MP and leader KC Venugopal, on Friday expressed hope that the two parties will form an alliance in view of the interests of the country and Haryana. In such a situation, it is believed that in the next few days it will be decided whether the Aam Aadmi Party and Congress will fight the Haryana assembly elections together or both will campaign against each other. Let us tell you that in the recent Lok Sabha elections, Aam Aadmi Party and Congress had formed an alliance in Delhi, but could not win a single seat in the capital. In Haryana, Congress won 31 seats in the last assembly elections.
