New Delhi. Congress has submitted its letter of support to the National Conference in Jammu and Kashmir. Now Omar Abdullah will meet Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha and stake claim to form the government. Giving information in this regard, Jammu and Kashmir Congress chief Tariq Hameed Karra said, we have given a letter of support to Omar Abdullah and now he will meet the Lieutenant Governor (LG) and stake claim to form the government. We are waiting for the date of Monday 14th October, but it depends on the LG which date he gives for the swearing in.

At the same time, JKNC leader Nasir Aslam Wani also confirmed this and said that Congress has given its letter of support to Omar Abdullah and he can approach the Lieutenant Governor today itself to stake claim to form the government. Earlier in the day, Aam Aadmi Party had also announced its support to the National Conference. Aam Aadmi Party has got one seat.

On the other hand, Baramulla MP Sheikh Abdul Rashid (Engineer Rashid) said that whatever good step the new government of Jammu and Kashmir takes, we will support it. We want the new government to be successful. We will pray that Abdullah Saheb will fulfill the promises he has made, although I have no faith in his intentions.

Let us tell you that Omar Abdullah was elected the leader of the National Conference Legislative Party only yesterday. Umar had told that he has also got the support of 4 independent MLAs.
