New Delhi. Congress has released the second list of its candidates for the Maharashtra Assembly elections. In this list, Congress has declared candidates for 23 seats. Earlier, in the first list released, Congress had announced the names of 48 candidates. In this way, till now Congress has finalized the names of its candidates for a total of 71 seats. The first name in today’s list is that of Rajesh Tukaram Manvatkar, he has been given ticket from Bhusaval seat. Swati Sandeep Wadekar from Jalgaon, Mahesh Gangne from Akot, Shekhar Pramod Babu from Wardha and Anuja Sunil Kedar from Savner have been made candidates.

Congress has given tickets to Girish Krishnarao Pandav from Nagpur South seat, Suresh Yadavrao from Kamathi, Pooja Ganesh Thavkar from Bhandara, Dalip Vaman Bansod from Arjuni Morgaon, Rajkumar Lotuji from Amgaon, Vasant Chinduji Purke from Ralegaon, Anil Balasaheb Shankarrao Mangulkar from Yavatmal. Apart from these, Jitendra Shivaji Moghe has been given Arni, Sahebrao Dattarao Kamble has been given Umarkhed, Kailash Krishnarao Gorantyal has been given Jalna, Madhukar Krishnarao Deshmukh has been given Aurangabad East, Vijay Govind Patil has been given Vasai, Kalu Badheliya has been given Kandivali East, Yashwant Jaiprakash Singh has been given Charkop, Ganesh Kumar Yadav has been given Zion. Koliwada, Hemant Ogale has been fielded from Sriampur, Abhaykumar Satishrao Salunkhe from Nilanga and Ganpatrao Appasaheb Patil from Shirol seat.
The second list of Congress has been released at a time when it is being said that Rahul Gandhi is angry over the giving of seats in Mumbai and especially Vidarbha to the alliance parties by the leaders of Maharashtra Congress. Let us tell you that there are a total of 288 assembly seats in Maharashtra. Of these, the opposition’s Mahavikas Aghadi alliance has currently divided 255 seats. Congress, Sharad Pawar-led NCP and Uddhav Thackeray faction’s Shiv Sena-UBT have decided to field their candidates on 85-85 seats.
