New Delhi: Senior Congress leader Sachin Pilot says that the Congress party has not lost the passion or passion to fight, the change happens slowly. Prior to the session of the All India Congress Committee (AICC) in Ahmedabad, Congress General Secretary Sachin Pilot said this in an interview. He said that there is a generation change in the party and the youth leaders are fulfilling the responsibilities assigned to him. He also said that in this process, strengthening the ideology along with accountability will be the main mantra.
Emphasis on restoring old pride
Sachin Pilot said that the AICC session in Gujarat is important as it is happening at a time when meditation is on strengthening the party in the respective state and restoring its old pride there. The former Union Minister also said that even though the party may have lost elections in some states after the Lok Sabha elections, it has not lost the passion or passion to fight. Asked if the time has come for generation change in the party, the pilot said that no change is overnight but gradually.
He said, “The party is committed to strengthening the status of backward, youth, women, scheduled castes, scheduled tribes, minorities. These are the classes that are the largest part of our population and adequate representation of these classes is important. ”
Youth are now handling leadership roles
Pilot said, “We accepted and follow the Udaipur manifesto on the party stage. In all the party’s appointments, we are keeping that manifesto in mind. (Generation) changes are happening on their own, many people are now handling leadership roles whether it is within Parliament or outside of Parliament, in states or AICC, youth are now handling leadership roles. ”(Input-language)
