New Delhi. Some students who came to take CET examination in Bidar and Shivamogga districts of Karnataka were asked to take off Janeu and Kalava, on which the dispute has started. At the Adichunchanagiri PU College located in Shivamogga, a student was allowed to take the Kalava and after taking off the janeu to the examination hall. At the same time, a student in Bidar was not allowed to give the paper just because he refused to remove Janeu. After the incident came to light, Brahmin organizations protested against the college staff demanding strict action.

BJP MLC N. Reacting to this entire incident, Ravikumar did not allow students to enter the examination center for not taking out janeu, this is injustice and is a completely illegal act. This is an inappropriate behavior towards the students, so I demand that students who were not allowed to take the exam against it should be given the opportunity to re -exam. At the same time, Shri Ram Sena chief Pramod Muthalik while talking about the incident at Adichunchangiri PU College of Shivamogga said that the students were asked to take off their janeu and kalava before sitting in the CET exam. He said that whoever has done this act should be suspended.

On the other hand, Karnataka Education Minister Madhu Bangarappa has condemned the incident. He said that I have sought a report in this regard, if the matter of really getting the janeu is true, then action will be taken against whoever is guilty. At the same time, the Akhil Karnataka Brahmin Sabha has met the District Magistrate and raised the demand for strict action in this matter. He says that religious sentiments have been intentionally hurt in this way. Immediate action should be taken against the culprits.
