New Delhi. Senior Congress leader and Rajya Sabha MP Digvijay Singh has once again come into controversy regarding his statement. This controversy is related to the statement given by Rahul Gandhi in the workers conference organized in Indore before the rally of Rahul Gandhi and Priyanka Gandhi to be held in Mhow on 27th February. Addressing the workers from the stage, Digvijay Singh said, “The government that exists today is the rule of the Bharatiya Janata Party, it is the rule of the RSS people, who have violated the Constitution given by Baba Saheb Ambedkar, Mahatma Gandhi and Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru. Burnt. These people said that this Indian Constitution is not right, we want to save that Indian Constitution.”
BJP hit back
Bharatiya Janata Party has given a strong reaction to this statement of Digvijay Singh. BJP state spokesperson Narendra Saluja, reacting on social media, said, “Pt. Nehru’s Constitution? We all know that the Constitution was made by Baba Saheb, the creator of the Constitution is Baba Saheb, then which Constitution of Pandit Nehru is Digvijay Singh ji referring to? BJP has been saying from the beginning that Congress never gives the credit of the Constitution to Baba Saheb. She gives credit for everything only to the Nehru-Gandhi family.”

Narendra Saluja further said, “In the eyes of Congress, great men are also only Nehru-Gandhi family. Congress has always insulted Baba Saheb and called the Gandhi family bigger than him. Recently, in the press conference organized at the residence of Jitu Patwari, Congress had placed the photos of Rahul Gandhi and Mallikarjun Kharge over the photo of Baba Saheb. Digvijay Singh ji is also proving the same thing that in his eyes the respect is not for Baba Saheb but for the Nehru-Gandhi family. That is why they are calling Baba Saheb’s Constitution as Pandit Nehru’s Constitution. The public is seeing this truth of Congress.”
