Prime Minister Narendra Modi, while paying tribute to Bhim Rao Ambedkar on his birth anniversary on Monday, said that due to Ambedkar’s inspiration, the country is dedicated to realize the dream of social justice today.
On the social media platform ‘X’, Modi said that Ambedkar’s principles and ideas will strengthen and intensify the creation of ‘self -reliant’ and developed India.
The Prime Minister said, “On behalf of all the countrymen, Bharat Ratna Pujya Babasaheb on his birth anniversary on his birth anniversary. It is his inspiration that today the country is engaged in a sense of realization in realizing the dream of social justice. His principles and ideal are going to strengthen and speed up the creation of self -reliant and developed India. ”
Ambedkar is known for his life struggle for empowerment of Scheduled Castes and his important role in drafting the constitution.
Born in 1891 in a Dalit family, Ambedkar was a talented student who went to study abroad. The discrimination he had withstanding in Indian society made him a committed social reformer. He was the first Law Minister of India and died in 1956.
