New Delhi. The Rouse Avenue Court of Delhi gave a big relief to Aam Aadmi Party MLA Amanatullah Khan from Okhla assembly constituency while hearing an anticipatory bail plea. The court has stayed any punitive action against Amanatullah Khan till 24 February. With this, the court directed the AAP MLA to cooperate in the police investigation. Along with this, the court asked the Delhi Police to interrogate the AAP MLA under CCTV surveillance. Delhi Police has been constantly looking for him for the last two days to catch the AAP MLA.
In fact, the Delhi Police team went to Jamia Nagar to arrest one of the murder accused. There, supporters of Amanatullah Khan created a ruckus and pushed the policemen. Taking advantage of this uproar, the killer escaped. It is being told that at the time when the policemen were pushed, AAP MLA Amanatullah Khan was also present there. After this, Delhi Police reached his house to interrogate him but he did not meet at home. Then an FIR was registered against the AAP MLA in the murder of the killer and the misconduct of the police. Since then, AAP MLA is absconding and Delhi Police is looking for him.
Earlier yesterday, AAP MLA Amanatullah Khan also wrote a letter to the Delhi Police Commissioner in which he was presenting his side that I was not running, but an attempt is being made to implicate me in false charges. He had said in his clarification that I was told that some people are taking a string of the locality. All those people were in plain clothes, so I intervened but when they showed a court order of arrest, I told that he was from Delhi Police, I had left from there.
