The Central Reserve Police Force has fired Munir Ahmed of the 41st Battalion jawan with immediate effect. The jawan was last stationed in the 41st Battalion of CRPF, the major internal security force of the country. Official sources told PTI-language that he was dismissed from service under the rules under which investigation is not required.
