The Corona virus in Gujarat has once again knocked. After a long gap in the state, there have been cases of 15 new Kovid-19, which has once again raged a wave of concern among the people. However, the Health Department has said that this new form of the virus is less serious and there is no need to panic.
13 cases alone in Ahmedabad
Additional Director (Public Health) Dr. Neelam Patel informed that this new variant is the JN.1 form of Omikron. At present, a total of 15 patients in Gujarat are infected with this variant. Of these:
13 patients are from Ahmedabad city
1 patient from Rajkot city
1 patient is from Ahmedabad Rural
Treatment is being done at home, there is no need to go to hospital
Dr. Patel informed that all infected patients are being treated at home isolation at home. No one needs to be hospitalized. He said that isolation wards are already ready in state hospitals, but they do not need to use them yet.
Foreign trip made reasons
According to the Health Department, a patient recently returned from Singapore after traveling. Experts believe that in countries like China, Thailand and Singapore, thousands of cases of Corona are coming up, similarly there has been an infection in India through visits.
People should be vigilant, do not panic
Dr. Patel said,
“This variant is less serious, so there is no need to panic. But people should be cautious. Especially those who have cough or cold, avoid going to crowded areas.”
