Warning of heavy rain in Sikkim

Due to this, heavy rains may pose a threat to flood, landslides and travel disruption. The Meteorological Department says that there is a possibility of heavy rains in Sikkim due to cyclonic circulation over the Bay of Bengal.
The process of rain will continue till May 26
According to the Meteorological Department, Sikkim may receive heavy rains with strong winds from Tuesday to Sunday. There is a possibility of torrential rains in all the districts of Sikkim from 20-25 May. At the same time, rain is expected in most areas on 26 May.
Flood and landslide alert
The Meteorological Department said on Tuesday that Sikkim is expected to receive heavy to very heavy rainfall with thunder and electricity during the next three days. This may pose a threat of floods in many areas of the state. At the same time, landslides may occur in some places. People have been advised to be vigilant by floods and landslides.
Warning of rain in northeastern states also
According to the information, the effect of cyclonic storm can be seen in many states of Northeast India. On Tuesday, many districts received heavy rains in Assam. Due to this, flood -like conditions have arisen in many areas. The Meteorological Department said that there is a possibility of very heavy rainfall during May 20-26 in Karnataka, Konkan and Goa and Kerala. Circumstances are likely to be favorable for the arrival of monsoon during the next 4-5 days in Kerala.
Let us know that on Tuesday, there was heavy rains with strong winds in Kui parts of Guwahati and Sri Bhumi district of Assam. Water logging is also being seen on the roads due to rain.
