The security of the Dalai Lama was increased.
The Ministry of Home Affairs, Government of India has increased the security of Tibetan spiritual leader and Buddhist religious leader Dalai Lama. According to the information, the Dalai Lama has been given Z category security by the Central Government in view of possible security threats. Official sources of PTI have given information about this on Thursday. Let us know what security the Dalai Lama used to get earlier and what will be the change in it.
How will the new security system of Dalai Lama be?
The Ministry of Home Affairs has directed the VIP Security Branch of the Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) to take over the security of 89 -year -old Dalai Lama. According to sources, now the Dalai Lama will be provided security for the Z category of CRPF commandos in all parts of the country. A team of about 30 commandos will work in different shifts to protect the Dalai Lama.
How did security available earlier?
The Tibetan spiritual leader and Buddhist religious leader Dalai Lama was earlier being provided security by the police of Himachal Pradesh. When the Dalai Lama used to go to Delhi or any other place, they were given additional security by the local police there. However, the security system has now been changed.
Why the security has changed?
PTI quoted a senior official as saying that after review by central intelligence agencies, the government has now given the Dalai Lama a security cordon of Z category. According to sources, BJP leader Sambit Patra has also been given the security of Z category in Manipur. Please tell that Sambit Patra is in charge of party affairs in Manipur.
