Security of Israeli Embassy in India increased.

There was an explosion near the Israeli embassy
In the year 2021, there was an IED blast outside the Israeli Embassy located in Lutyens area of Delhi. An envelope was recovered from the blast site on which the address of the Israeli Embassy was written. This year too, an explosion took place in the evening near the Israeli embassy and a letter addressed in abusive language to the Israeli ambassador was recovered from the scene.
Citizens advised to avoid going to Iran
In view of the increasing tension in the Middle East or West Asia, the Indian government on Wednesday appealed to the citizens to avoid all non-essential trips to Iran. The Indian Ministry of External Affairs has urged its citizens in Iran to remain alert and in touch with the embassy. India has said that we are closely monitoring the security situation in the region.
Guidelines for Indian citizens in Israel
The Indian Embassy in Tel Aviv, Israel has also issued guidelines for Indian citizens in Israel. The Embassy has said that in view of the prevailing situation in the region, all Indian nationals in Israel are advised to remain alert and follow the safety protocols advised by the local authorities. The embassy has said to exercise caution, avoid unnecessary travel within the country and stay close to safe havens.
