New Delhi. Now another new problem has arisen in front of Rahul Gandhi. The lawyer of three boys who have been acquitted by the court in the Hathras incident has sent a defamation notice of Rs 1.50 crore to Rahul Gandhi. Actually, Rahul Gandhi had gone to Hathras a few days ago and he went there and met the family of the ‘daughter’. After this, he had posted a post on social media in which he had said that the family members of the rape victim are imprisoned in the house of Hathras and the accused of gang rape are roaming freely.
Now a defamation notice has been sent to Rahul Gandhi regarding this social media post. In this regard, advocate Munna Singh Pundhir says that when the court has acquitted my clients Ravi, Ramu and Luvkush and has not even considered this case as a rape case, then who is Rahul Gandhi to point fingers at anyone? The advocate said that the character of my clients has been questioned by Rahul Gandhi which is a crime, hence Rahul Gandhi will have to pay Rs 50 lakh each to my three clients. It has been said in the defamation notice that within 15 days, Rahul Gandhi should give an amount of Rs 50 lakh each to the three parties.
Advocate Munna Singh Pundhir said that Rahul Gandhi deliberately defamed my clients as part of dirty politics. When the court did not find him guilty, yet Rahul Gandhi is calling him a rapist, this is contempt of the court. For two and a half years, my clients had to stay in jail and suffer infamy due to false allegations like gang rape, murder etc. Now, after being acquitted by the court, when the three clients are trying to rejoin the mainstream society, it is completely unfair for Rahul to blame them.
