New Delhi. The session of Delhi Assembly has been extended for two days. In this way, the proceedings of the House which was first to run till 27 February will now run till 1 March. At the same time, 21 out of 22 MLAs of Aam Aadmi Party have been suspended from the House for three seating. Assembly Speaker Vijender Gupta expressed displeasure over the attitude of AAP MLAs, saying, “Yesterday, the opposition created a ruckus during the congratulatory motion.” Even today, such behavior in the address of the Lieutenant Governor is condemnable and for this we have a policy of zero tolerance.

Vijender Gupta said that 21 members have been suspended for three seating in view of the attitude of opposition MLAs during the Lieutenant Governor’s address. This resolution has been passed in the House in accordance with the feelings of the members of the ruling party. The proposal was made by Cabinet Minister Pravesh Verma, which was supported by ministers Ravindra Indraj and Abhay Verma. Let us tell you that there are 22 MLAs in the House of the Aam Aadmi Party, out of which action was taken against all the MLAs except Okhla MLA Amanatullah Khan. Actually Amanatullah Khan was not present in the House today, due to which he was not suspended.
