Now Chief Minister Rekha Gupta has given the reason for the delay in implementing the scheme. The Chief Minister told about this in an interview that the former AAP government of Delhi had made many plans and promises, but all of them proved to be paperwork because most of the schemes did not last more than a year. He said that we will fulfill our promise and our endeavor is that the needs of the scheme should not be misused, so the exact outline is being prepared, that is why it is taking some time. He said that this is not a one -time money plan, so necessary rules are being made for this and money has been allocated in this regard in the budget. CM said that soon the women of Delhi will get the benefit of this scheme.
At the same time, the BJP government is going to close the pink ticket and issue smart cards in the DTC buses, and now it is going to issue a smart card. Women will get a smart card for a lifetime free bus trip. The government will soon start the registration process for this scheme. These smart cards will be like the metro card, although there will be no amount in them. These will be a zero value cards with a chip.
