Kejriwal’s big promises
Delhi Assembly elections can be held in February and former Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal has brought many big gifts to woo the public before the elections. All parties have intensified preparations for the elections but Kejriwal is making big announcements in haste. In the last few days, Aam Aadmi Party convener Kejriwal has made many big announcements to please the people of Delhi. This assembly election is special in many ways for Kejriwal and his party AAP, who have been in power in Delhi for a long time, because Kejriwal wants to maintain his victory at any cost. Kejriwal’s attitude and big announcements can create problems for BJP and Congress.
Kejriwal’s big election promises
Aam Aadmi Party convenor Kejriwal has made five big announcements in the last few days. This includes announcement of Rs 2100 per month for women, free treatment for people above 60 years of age under Sanjeevani Yojana, pension scheme for the elderly, 24-hour clean water for Delhiites and salary for priests and priests. While AAP leaders are calling these promises of Kejriwal a masterstroke, BJP is attacking on this issue. BJP is calling these promises a betrayal for the people of Delhi. BJP says that Kejriwal is only making false promises to the people.
Will BJP’s problems increase?
BJP is taking a jibe at every announcement of Kejriwal. When Kejriwal announced Mahila Samman and Sanjeevani Yojana, BJP called it a big deception and said that AAP has been in power for the last 10 years, but did not give help of Rs 10 to any woman. They are making false promises to the elderly and women as the elections approach. When Kejriwal promised clean water to the people of Delhi, BJP countered this too.
Not only this, Arvind BJP issued a forty-page charge sheet against Kejriwal and his party and made serious allegations. It was written on the cover page of the charge sheet, “Delhi government is bankrupt, AAP MLA is rich and Kejriwal in Sheeshmahal”.
What will BJP do?
After this, when the Aam Aadmi Party made the announcement for the priests and grants on Monday, the BJP leader targeted Kejriwal and said, ‘I have been saying for years that the priests of the temple and also the grants of all the Gurdwaras should be given salaries but Kejriwal. Was paying salaries to the clerics and their associates of all the mosques for 10 years. Now as soon as the elections are coming, they are remembering the priests and granthis. Now BJP can also make some big announcements for women, elderly and youth.
