At least six shops in the ‘Tin shed’ were gutted due to a fire in the market in Kotla Mubarakpur in Delhi. The officers provided this information.
A fire fighting official said that after receiving information about the fire at four o’clock in the morning, nine fire engines were sent to the spot and they controlled the fire till six in the morning.
At present, no casualties or injuries have been reported.
In this incident of fire, shops selling various types of goods including clothes, tarpaulin, ‘stationery’ and ‘cosmetic’ were affected.
According to the official, the initial investigation feared that the fire may have been due to ‘short circuit’. At present, the exact cause of the fire has not been clear.
