New Delhi: The meeting on Waqf is over. Waqf JPC has accepted the bill by 14 votes against 11. Opposition members have been asked to give their disagreement note till 4 pm today.

Asasuddin Owaisi said, ‘We believe that the Modi government wants to snatch Waqf property from Muslims. If the government has a majority, then they got this amendment passed. Now it will go to Parliament but we will fight in Parliament. If needed, we will oppose it outside too.
