Let us tell you that the opposition in Maharashtra has raised questions on EVMs. The opposition MLAs did not even take the oath of assembly on Saturday. Uddhav Thackeray’s MLA son Aditya Thackeray had alleged that the people of Maharashtra have not given their verdict in the assembly elections. This is the decision of EVM. On this, NCP chief and Deputy CM Ajit Pawar had said that the opposition parties of Maharashtra should complain to the Election Commission and if there is a problem there too, they should go to court. In the Maharashtra Assembly elections, on behalf of Mahayuti, BJP has won 132 seats, Eknath Shinde’s Shiv Sena has won 57 seats and Ajit Pawar’s NCP has won 41 seats. At the same time, Uddhav Thackeray’s party included in Mahavikas Aghadi won 20 seats, Congress won 16 seats and Sharad Pawar’s party won 10 seats. Whereas, Mahavikas Aghadi had performed much better in the Lok Sabha elections. Based on this, Mahavikas Aghadi is alleging that Mahayuti won the Maharashtra Assembly elections by tampering with EVMs.
