The Mahayuti government of Maharashtra will be sworn in on 5th December i.e. Thursday at Azad Maidan in Mumbai. Devendra Fadnavis will become the CM from the Mahayuti government. Whereas, Shiv Sena’s Eknath Shinde and NCP’s Ajit Pawar will get the post of Deputy CM. Only these three people will take oath on Thursday. The oath will be administered after finalizing the names of other ministers. It is being told that there will be 22 ministers from BJP side in the government. Home department will also remain with BJP. Besides, BJP will also get the post of Assembly Speaker. Ashish Shelar has been elected as the Chief Whip of the BJP Legislature Party.

Mahayuti has performed brilliantly in the Maharashtra Assembly elections. BJP has secured 132 seats from Mahayuti. Whereas, Eknath Shinde’s Shiv Sena has won 57 seats and Ajit Pawar’s NCP has won 411 seats. At the same time, in the opposition Mahavikas Aghadi, Uddhav Thackeray’s party has got the maximum 20 seats and Sharad Pawar’s party has got the least 10 seats. The situation is such that no party of Mahavikas Aghadi can even achieve the post of Leader of Opposition in the Assembly. The reason for this is that no one has got 10 percent seats.
