New Delhi. The investigation of the Ahmedabad aircraft accident is still going on. Meanwhile, the Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) has ordered Air India to remove three officers. Action has been taken against three officials recently due to allegations of serious and repeated irregularities. The three officers who have been removed are the names of Churah Singh Divisional Vice President, Pinky Mittal, Chief Manager, DOPS, Crew Scheduling and Payal Arora, Crew Scheduling, Planning. The DGCA has also directed to initiate internal disciplinary action against these three officers and submit its report within 10 days.
The DGCA has found that the flight crew was scheduled by these three officers despite not completing compulsory licensing, rest and reaction norms. Along with irregularity in the time table of the flight crew, negligence was also taken in installing crew rosters. The DGCA has clarified that there should be no kind of any kind or hilarious about flying safety and compliance with the rules. Also, Air India has been instructed to ensure improvement in scheduling procedures to ensure that such a mistake is not made again in future.
Let us tell you that after the Ahmedabad aircraft accident, the DGCA has directed the intensive security check of the Boeing Dreamliner aircraft. Along with this, an attempt is being made to find out what caused the plane crash. In the accident, 241 citizens were killed in 242 people aboard the plane and 33 other local citizens were also killed, mostly residents of BJ Medical College, resident doctors and medical staff. DNA is being matched with family members to identify the dead. By Friday evening, DNA of 191 bodies was matched.
