The children asked many questions related to pressure, apprehension, restlessness and disorientation. Suhas told how eradicating the fear of failure helped him win a gold medal in the Asian Championship.
He said, “Your mind is your greatest friend and enemy. I represented India at the Asian Championship in 2016. I was so scared that the first match was lost and was following the second. Then during the 30 -second break, I told myself that when you have come so far, the worst can be that you will lose. Recover from fear of defeat and show your natural game. ”
Suhas said, “I not only won the match but not only six matches and became the first non -seeded player to win a gold medal in the Asian Championship in China. The lesson is to overcome the fear of defeat, who is in front, give your best without thinking about it. ”
