New Delhi. In Karnataka, the ongoing rage on the post of Chief Minister is increasing day by day. MLA Iqbal Hussain, a supporting MLA of Deputy CM DK Shivkumar, has claimed that about 100 MLAs are with him and everyone wants the Chief Minister to be changed. On the other hand, the Congress high command has sent senior party leader Randeep Surjewala to Bengaluru so that they can end the estrangement in the party. Hussain said that it is in the interest of the party that now the power of the state should be handed over to DK Shivkumar. If this does not happen, the Congress will be ousted from power in the 2028 assembly elections.
Congress national president Mallikarjun Kharge said yesterday that the party high command makes a decision regarding CM. Nobody knows what is going on in the high command. With this, he advised Congress leaders to avoid rhetoric without talking. Kharge’s statement came after this comment by MLA Iqbal Hussain, in which he said that perhaps Karnataka Chief Minister Siddaramaiah can be removed and Deputy CM DK Shivkumar can be made the new Chief Minister of Karnataka in two-three months.
At the same time, Iqbal Hussain said on Kharge’s statement, we respect the high command, but it is necessary to tell the truth. He also said that he will meet Randeep Surjewala and inform him as well. Let us tell you that since the assembly elections in Karnataka, there has been a dispute between Siddaramaiah and DK Shivkumar over the post of Chief Minister. However, in public, both of them have been denying any kind of estrangement in their relationship. The Karnataka government minister KN Rajanna also recently increased the stir by saying that after September, there can be a big change in Karnataka politics.
