A 14-year-old student was allegedly stabbed to death outside a school in East Delhi’s Shakarpur area. Police gave this information on Saturday. Police said the alleged incident took place after a fight broke out between the teenager and some other students on Friday.
“The fight turned violent when a student along with three-four of his friends attacked the teenager outside the main gate of the school,” a police officer said. An attacker attacked the teenager with a knife on his right thigh, seriously injuring him.
To arrest the criminals, the team of Shakarpur police station along with the anti-narcotics squad and a team of ‘special staff’ were sent to the spot.
Police said that so far seven suspects have been detained and their role and motives for committing the murder are being investigated. Post mortem of the dead student’s body will be conducted.
A case has been registered at Shakarpur police station and investigation has been started.
