New Delhi. In the case of rape of a minor in Ayodhya, Uttar Pradesh, the DNA sample of Raju Khan, the driver of alleged Samajwadi Party leader Moeed Khan, has matched with that of the victim. However, Moeed Khan’s DNA report has come negative. Yogi government has given this information in the court. While Raju Khan’s problems have increased after the DNA report came out, problems may also increase for Moeed Khan. A case has been registered against both of them under the POCSO Act.
Moeed Khan also included in victim’s allegations
The minor victim has repeatedly claimed in her statement that Moeed Khan was also present with driver Raju Khan at the time of the incident. According to the FIR, the incident happened when the minor was working in the fields and she met Raju Khan, who worked in a bakery. Raju Khan took the victim to bakery owner and SP leader Moeed Khan, where both of them together raped the victim. Raju Khan had also made a video of this incident, on the basis of which the victim was later blackmailed and had relations with her again and again. The matter came to light when the victim became pregnant. Her abortion was done after the permission of the court.
The administration took strict action
After the complaint was registered, the police registered a case of rape against Moeed Khan and Raju Khan and both were arrested and sent to jail. The administration declared their properties illegal and took action by using bulldozers. The case is being heard in the court, where Moeed Khan has repeatedly denied the allegations against him.
DNA report increased difficulties
Considering the seriousness of the case, DNA test of both the accused was done on the instructions of the court. Advocate General Vinod Shahi told the court that the DNA of driver Raju Khan has matched with the victim, while the DNA of Moeed Khan has come negative. The lawyer says that DNA match of one of the accused proves that an incident of gang rape had taken place.
Further investigation continues
Raju Khan is 20 years old, and his involvement in the crime has been confirmed due to his DNA match. The lawyer said that even after Moeed Khan’s DNA came out negative, there was a possibility that he might have lied by denying the crime. At present, a thorough investigation of the case is going on and there is a possibility of action against both of them.
