Amid tensions with Pakistan, the Government of India has decided to drill mock drills across the country on May 7. Meanwhile, the retired general explained what is mock drill, black out and evacuation and why the common people do not need to panic. He also told that earlier there used to be such mock drills every ever in the border area. In Israel too, such mock drills still occur daily. Revealing the reality of Pakistan, he said that Pakistan has neither so much money nor so many weapons that it can attack every house.
Regarding the mock drill, Lieutenant General KJS Dhillon (Retired) said, “Earlier such mock drills were very common in the border areas. I was a young student in Amritsar during the 1971 war. We had all these mock drills. Later I was studying in Ferozepur, there were also these mock drills there. It is also a mock drill. If action is taken, citizens can save themselves. “
What is blackout?
The retired general said “There is no need to panic. It is not that Pakistan will attack every house, it does not have money or ammunition for it. Drill mockout comfortably, as far as blackout is concerned, you just have to put black sheets on your windows and put black curtains on your windows. So that if children are studying inside the house or any other reason, then there is some light, then it is not a regular aircraft. It is a matter of cooperation with the authorities and if you follow these exercises properly, nothing is going to happen to any citizen. ” He also made it clear that the new -age aircraft set targets through modern instruments. In such a situation, the pilot does not need to see anything. However, the pilot has to be seen down to attack the old aircraft that Pakistan has. If Pakistan attacks with old aircraft, Blackout is necessary to protect itself.
What is evacuation?
The retired general said that if the armies of the two countries clash, the army personnel move towards the border with their tanks and vehicles. At the same time, people from areas along the border move to safe places inside. The routes of the army are different and the way of the return of ordinary citizens is different. Such a situation should not happen that citizens are returning from one side on the same bridge and army personnel are coming from the other side. Because of this, the evacuation is drilled.
