Due to low visibility due to dense fog, 15 flights were diverted at Delhi airport in the early hours of Saturday. Due to bad weather, flight operations were affected for the second consecutive day.
Due to adverse weather, many flights are running behind schedule, while the country’s largest airline Indigo has temporarily stopped the arrival and departure of planes.
An official said 15 flights were diverted between 12.15 am and 1.30 am on Friday night due to low visibility.

CAT III feature allows operation of the aircraft even in low visibility conditions. ‘DIAL’ is responsible for the operation of Indira Gandhi International Airport.
“6ET Travel Advisory: Arrivals and departures at Delhi Airport are currently suspended due to low visibility,” airline IndiGo said in a post on social media platform ‘X’ at 1:05 pm on Friday night.
Air India, in an update at 1.16 pm, said that poor visibility due to dense fog is affecting flight operations in Delhi and parts of North India. There was dense fog in Delhi on Friday also, due to which more than 400 flights were affected.
