New Delhi. A unique and emotional scene was seen during the road show organized by Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Spanish President Pedro Sanchez in Vadodara, Gujarat. When PM Modi was doing a roadshow with the President of Spain in an open jeep in Vadodara, he met Diya Gosai, a disabled student who was in the crowd. This meeting was done by the Prime Minister without caring about the protocol, which is being appreciated a lot on social media and by the local public. People are praising this gesture of PM Modi.

Diya was seen in the crowd with a special painting
MS University student and talented painter Diya Gosai was sitting on a wheelchair in the crowd. He had a painting made of Prime Minister Modi and Spanish President Pedro Sanchez in his hand. As soon as the road show convoy reached them, the eyes of both the leaders fell on that painting. Prime Minister Modi immediately instructed his staff to order a painting from the student. Spanish President Pedro Sanchez was also very happy after seeing the painting and then both the leaders came down by car to meet Diya. Prime Minister Modi shook hands with Diya, after which President Sanchez also shook hands with her.

“I completed the painting in four days. When I was standing at the gate, Prime Minister Modi saw it, came to meet me, asked my name and expressed his gratitude. After that, Spanish President Pedro Sanchez also shook hands with me and the Prime Minister introduced me to him,” Diya Gosai said, adding that she presented the sketch to the two leaders.

PM Modi inaugurates Tata Aircraft Complex in Vadodara
During his visit to Vadodara, Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Spanish President Pedro Sanchez also jointly inaugurated the aircraft assembly plant of Tata Advanced Systems Limited (TASL). C-295 aircraft will be manufactured in this plant. India is to get a total of 56 aircraft under the C-295 programme, out of which 16 aircraft will be shipped directly from Spain by Airbus and the remaining 40 aircraft will be manufactured in India. This assembly plant is a big step towards India’s self-reliance in the defense sector.
