Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana has been started by the Government of India for farmers, under which they are provided financial assistance. Under this scheme, financial assistance is provided to the farmers so that they can be helped in difficult times. Financial assistance is provided to farmers in installments. A total of 18 installments have been released so far under this scheme.
How much financial assistance is provided through this scheme?
Let us tell you that with the help of this scheme, farmers are given Rs 6 thousand annually. This amount is transferred to their account in three installments of Rs 2,000 each. To avail the benefits of this scheme, farmers are required to register under the scheme.
It was suggested to all the farmers that it is necessary for them to get e-KYC done. If a farmer does not do EKYC, his money may get stuck. Apart from e-KYC, farmers are also required to do their land verification. This service is being provided only to the farmers who have done all this work.
