A 4 -intensity earthquake occurred on Monday morning in Siwan district of Bihar, which led to many places. According to the National Earthquake Science Center (NCS), the earthquake was recorded at a depth of 10 km in Siwan at 8.02 am Indian time.
According to the Bihar Disaster Management Department (DMD), earthquake tremors were felt in Siwan and other surrounding districts.
Speaking to PTI, Additional Chief Secretary, Disaster Management Department, Additional Chief Secretary, Praty, said, “There is no news of any loss of property or life and property due to earthquake.”
The tremors of the earthquake caused panic in Siwan and people came out of buildings as a precaution.
In addition, on Monday morning, many residents of Delhi were shocked by a strong tremor after an earthquake of 4.0 magnitude in the national capital and surrounding areas. Due to strong tremors, panic spread among the people and they came out of their homes.
