New Delhi. Sonia Gandhi’s son -in -law Robert Vadra may increase in the case of land deal in Shikohpur in Gurugram district of Haryana! The Enforcement Directorate i.e. ED has filed a charge sheet in the court on Thursday in the Shikohpur land deal case. The ED charge sheet includes Robert Vadra and many companies and others names in the Shikohpur land deal case. Robert Vadra’s name in the ED charge sheet is likely to heat up politics.
The ED questioned Robert Vadra in the case in April and May 2025 for about 18 hours. The ED had registered a case in the case related to Shikohpur land under the PMLA to stop money laundering. In the charge sheet, Robert Vadra has been accused of money laundering in the Shikohpur land deal case by the ED. It is alleged that Robert Vadra’s Skylight Hospitality Company bought 3.5 acres of land in Shikohpur in 2008 for Rs 7.5 crore. This land was sold for 58 crores without completing the project. At the time when the case of Shikohpur land took place, there was a Congress government in Haryana and Bhupendra Singh Hooda was the CM.
A case of land deal in Shikohpur in Gurugram took place during the Congress government of Bhupendra Singh Hooda.
According to the ED, Bhupendra Singh Hooda government had allowed Robert Vadra to build a commercial colony on 2.70 acres out of the total land, but Robert Vadra sold this land instead of making the colony to DLF Universal Limited instead of making the colony. It is alleged that Robert Vadra’s company made a profit of crores by making this deal. Robert Vadra had sold land to DLF, but the Haryana Government’s Town and Country Planning Department did not approve the transfer of the license given to build a colony. The special thing is that Robert Vadra bought land from Omkareshwar Properties, then its mutation was also done in 24 hours. Whereas, the process of mutation takes up to three months due to investigation. After the FIR of Gurugram Police in January 2019, the ED also started an investigation into money laundering. Ashok Khemka, who was an IAS officer, revealed irregularities in the land deal. After which he was also transferred several times.
