ED Questions Rabri Devi: 'How did you take the land of Delhi and Patna's land ... How did those who get jobs in the railway come in contact with you?' case

Patna. Today is an important day for RJD supremo Lalu Yadav. Lalu Yadav has to appear before the ED for questioning in the alleged scam of giving jobs in exchange for land. Earlier on Tuesday, the ED questioned Lalu Yadav’s wife and former CM of Bihar Rabri Devi and son Tej Pratap Yadav in the job scam case instead of land. ED officers made a long questioning by sitting separately to Rabri Devi and Tej Pratap Yadav. News channel Aaj Tak has informed ED sources as saying what questions were asked by the ED officials to Lalu Yadav’s wife Rabri Devi during interrogation.

The news channel has quoted ED sources as saying that the officials of the investigating agency raised all the questions from Rabri Devi, but especially sought answers to 7 questions. ED officers asked Rabri Devi how the bungalow with New Friends Colony was taken in Delhi. Apart from this, ED officers also wanted to know how the land of Patna is bought, how was the land purchased and where did the money come to buy these properties. ED officials from Rabri Devi also wanted to know how her land is taken. At the same time, Lalu Yadav’s wife was also asked how she knows the people whose land was taken in exchange for giving jobs. ED officers wanted to know from Rabri Devi to know when she was given a job in the railway, when she first met and how did the job come in contact with Rabri.

According to the news channel, Rabri Devi did not have the answer to most of the questions asked by ED officers. She postponed the answers to all the questions. Explain that apart from Lalu Yadav, Rabri Devi, her daughter Hema Yadav, daughter Misa Bharti and son Tejashwi Yadav are more than 30 accused in the alleged scam of taking land in exchange for jobs. This is the case of the time when Lalu Yadav was a Railway Minister in the UPA government at the Center. After investigation, the CBI has alleged that Lalu and his family took land from people in exchange for jobs in railway. The ED is investigating money laundering in this case.
