New Delhi. Congress leader and former Rajasthan minister Pratap Singh Khachariwas’s house was raided by the Enforcement Directorate (ED). This raid has been conducted in the PACL Chit Fund scam case of Rs 2,850 crore. According to the ED, the Congress leader is accused that he has been involved in the chit fund scam and he has also made a profit. The PACL company entered into real estate in the name of investment in more than 5 crore people across the country and then did not return their money later. In this case, the first case was registered at Chaumu police station in Jaipur in 2011.

SEBI also took action in 2014 against PACL. After this the matter reached the Supreme Court. In 2016, the apex court formed a committee for recovery of assets worth Rs 1.86 lakh crore and return to investors to return their money and ordered the investors to return their money. Now the ED is finding out those who were direct or indirect in any way.

At the same time, on the raid on his residence, Congress leader Pratap Singh Khachariwas said, the governments keep changing, the era will change. Get rid of what will happen on the day Rahul Gandhi comes to power. The BJP has started this action, we will do the same against the people of BJP. I know how to treat everyone. Khachariwas said that he has come here to search. I also want them to search according to the Constitution. They have received an order to search the campus, but I was not told what the matter is. I have been raising my voice against the government, that’s why action is being taken against me.
