New Delhi. Congress MP Priyanka Gandhi Vadra’s husband Robert Vadra’s difficulties are not being named. The Enforcement Directorate (ED) has summoned Robert Vadra and summoned it again for questioning. The ED has called Robert Vadra to record the statement yesterday i.e. on 17 June. Robert Vadra’s connection with arms businessman Sanjay Bhandari living in Britain and the ED is investigating the money laundering case related to them. In this regard, ED has to answer some questions from Robert Vadra.
The Enforcement Directorate had earlier sent summons to Robert Vadra but refused to appear by citing his ill health. Vadra had said that he has symptoms like fever and flu, in view of which he has tested Corona. In this regard, his lawyer had issued a statement on behalf of Vadra and said that he has no intention of avoiding summons, he will be presented before the ED after his health is cured. According to the ED, arms businessman Sanjay Bhandari bought a house in London in 2009. The renovation work of this house was done as per the instructions of Robert Vadra and the money that was spent in it was also provided by Vadra.
Although Vadra has dismissed these allegations, the ED is engaged in investigation of the entire case under PMLA. It is believed that after questioning Vadra, the ED can file its charge sheet. Earlier in April, the ED called Robert Vadra to his office for three consecutive days and made several hours long interrogation. However, it was a case related to a land deal in Haryana.
