Effort to create a better future for vulnerable communities, distributed blankets among the needy

With the cold of winter, vulnerable communities face many other challenges, not just the cold. For those who do not have proper shelter or warm clothes, this harsh winter can become a threat to life. In such a situation, Suraj NGO’s annual campaign “Kartavya – Ek Chadar Garmi Aur Umeed Ki” is not just an immediate relief, but an effort to create a better future for the needy.

In Delhi, an NGO distributed more than 250 blankets among the needy in a camp, which is a big relief for them in the harsh winter. Yashika Shaikh, founder of the NGO, said, “Kartya is not just a campaign to distribute blankets, it is a way of spreading warmth, love and hope. “Together, we can make a positive difference in the lives of those who need it most.” The event was attended by many prominent personalities, including renowned educationist from Bihar Dr. Nikhat Riyazi, SHO of Chanakyapuri Police Station Balihar Singh and renowned philanthropist Gaurav Grover, Founder of New Delhi Social Welfare Association.

The basic spirit of this duty campaign symbolizes solidarity and empathy. It makes them feel that these people are seen, that they are cared for, and that they are not alone in their struggles. This impact of kindness and love inspires positive change throughout the community. The NGO is not only meeting immediate needs, it is also creating sustainable solutions to empower communities year-round.
