Eknath Shinde made a statement on the Aurangzeb case after unveiling the statue of Maratha Asmita and Hindavi Swaraj, a symbol of Maratha Asmita and Hindavi Swaraj at Gharda Chowk in Dombivali, Thane. Eknath Shinde called people praising Aurangzeb as traitors. Eknath Shinde said that the statue of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj has been installed to honor the legacy, courage and leadership of the Maratha king.
