On Wednesday, the Indian Embassy in Beirut issued an advisory for Indian citizens. An update has been issued regarding travel to Lebanon for Indian travellers. Recently, there have been explosions in many devices such as pagers etc. in Lebanon.
Embassy issued instructions for Indian travelers
Let us tell you that in its statement dated August 1, 2024, the embassy has informed that in view of the current situation, Indian citizens have been advised not to travel to Niban till further orders. According to the current situation, Indian citizens may face danger in traveling.
The embassy has said in its statement that all Indian citizens should return from Lebanon. If any Indian citizen is unable to return from Lebanon for any reason, he should take special security measures.
