Emergency landing of Passenger Flight of Air India going from Chennai to Colombo has been made. It has been informed by the officials that during the landing on the runway in the morning, there was a technical fault in the aircraft, due to which the aircraft has been landed.
Technical fault came after takeoff
Let us tell you that it has been informed that the aircraft was decided to depart from Chennai Airport in 5:45 AM. But then after some delay, the aircraft could depart at 6:00 AM. But then after the takeoff, the pilot came to know that there is an engine malfunction of the aircraft.
The aircraft had a total of 154 passengers, out of which 148 passengers and 6 crew members were included. After this, it was decided to land the aircraft. The aircraft was made emergency landing and the flight engineer was called on the spot. During that time, the passengers stayed in the plane and the flight was repaired. After this, the work was completed in 2 hours. After this, the aircraft was allowed to depart at 7:40 AM.
