Two aircraft landed at Ahmedabad Airport from Amritsar on Monday with 33 native residents of Gujarat, who were taken out of illegal immigration from the US. The officers provided this information.
These were all part of a group of 112 Indians aboard American military aircraft, who landed at Amritsar Airport late on Sunday night.
With the arrival of these 33 people deported, the number of residents sent from the US has increased to 74 since February 6.
Inspector SG Khambhala of the airport police station said, “Soon after arriving at Ahmedabad Airport, 33 migrants, including children, were taken to police vehicles to their original places in Gujarat in police vehicles.”
The pillar told that three people arrived at around 12 noon. Two of these people are from Mehsana and one from Gandhinagar district. At the same time, 30 other people arrived here at the second flight at around two in the afternoon. Police vehicles were deployed at the airport to bring these people to their original places.
On February sixteen February, an aircraft with eight people from Gujarat landed from Amritsar at Ahmedabad Airport. All these were among the 116 Indians who were sent from the US due to illegal immigration. He was immediately taken to their original places in police vehicles.
On February 6, an aircraft with 33 migrants from Gujarat landed at Ahmedabad Airport, after which they were taken to their respective places. Most of them were people from Mehsana, Gandhinagar, Patan and Ahmedabad districts. All these were among the 104 Indians exiled.
