Extended by External Affairs Minister Jaishankar amid Indo-Pak tension, central government gave these orders

Foreign Minister S Jaishankar has strengthened their security cordon by adding two anti -bullet vehicles after a recent review of armed central security of Z class.

The move has been taken a few days after the military struggle between India and Pakistan, and after the Pahalgam terrorist attack on 22 April, New Delhi has been taken after the punitive diplomatic steps against Islamabad, in which 26 people lost their lives.

70 -year -old Jaishankar is leading the Ministry of External Affairs (MEA) initiatives in this regard. They are talking to various world leaders and foreign ministers from various countries about the operation vermilion run by India in response to the Pahalgam attack.

Sources told PTI that the armed security of Jaishankar was reviewed by central intelligence agencies recently and he recommended adding anti -bullet vehicles to his Z category convoy.

He said that it was necessary to include two new bullet proof vehicles in view of security requirements and this arrangement has been made recently. He informed that overall VIP’s security system has been strengthened.

Following the same review and their dancing perception, the Union Home Ministry increased the security level of Jaishankar from Y category to the second highest Z level in 2023.

The VIP of the Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) provides armed security to the security branch minister. The VIP security cover under the Central Security List starts from Z-Plus (Advanced Security Contact) to Z-Plus, Z, Y, Y-Plus and X.

The VIP security cover of CRPF currently consists of around 200 people, including Union Home Minister Amit Shah and the first family of Congress – Sonia Gandhi, Rahul Gandhi and Priyanka Gandhi Vadra.
